Tai scored four points from his first three rides at Sheffield before the meeting was abandoned after heat 12. The result stands therefore Tai has not qualified for the final at Wolverhampton on 14th June.
After a last minute call up for the Bob Kilby Memorial meeting at Swindon, Tai scored five points from five rides. The meeting was won by Nicki Pedersen.
